Destiny 2 patch removes Might of the Traveler and DSC cheesing
Bungie released a rather interesting patch for Destiny 2 which dealt with one of the biggest annoyances in the game but also removed the means of cheesing the DSC sparrow encounter.
Deep Stone Crypt is not exactly as hardcore as other raids that some of the Destiny 2 community may be used to but certain cheese tactics made it even easier. One person could carry an encounter for example, but that has been dealt with in the patch from January 19, 2021 .
The specific fixes for the Atraks-1 cheese in DSC are:
- Fixed an issue in Deep Stone Crypt raid where players could deal damage to Atraks-1 at an unintended time
- Fixed an issue where players could exit the environment in the Deep Stone Crypt raid
Therefore, wall breaching and solo killing the boss will probably no longer be an option but something tells us it’s only a matter of time before the community figures out another way to cheese the raid. As long as Telesto is with us, we shall believe in never before seen wondrous bugs.
Another part of the patch notes that is highly interesting is tied to Gambit.
If there ever was one universally hated thing in Destiny community, it was Might of the Traveler bounty.
The slow pace at which it progressed made us do the activity more times than we wished and induced enough rage and anxiety to cause countless grey hairs. With the latest patch, this menace of a bounty has been completely removed.
