Fortnite 2.74 update: PS4, Xbox and Mac Emote Wheel issue fixed in latest patch
Fortnite developer Epic has pushed out a new update for the Battle Royale this morning.
The developer hasn’t been particularly forthcoming with information, but the new update appears to fix some issues that a previous PC patch fixed over on the Windows platform.
“We’re aware of a crash that can sometimes occur after using the Emote Wheel,” Epic tweeted earlier this week. before pushing out the update to the PC version of the game.
“We’re working to address this and will provide an update when it’s resolved.”
Now, today, it seems we’ve got the fix on PS4, Xbox One and Mac.
The update weighs in at 1.57GB – and it’s a mandatory update that you must download before you can play the game online.
“We’ve released a maintenance patch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Mac to address this issue. This issue is now resolved on all affected platforms” Epic said in a tweet.
We don’t often see ’emergency’ updates like this pushed out by Epic, and it comes ahead of a larger update that’ll arrive next week (which’ll most likely update the game to version 13.10 or 13.01).
There are no proper patch notes for this new update, but we’ll keep you updated as and when Epic pushes out more information about the hotfix.
