Guild Wars 2 is getting additional automated tournaments for a week
ArenaNet announced a pile of additional tournaments which will be available for a week for all your PvP and associated reward needs.
Guild Wars 2 is celebrating Autumn with a week that will feature more automated tournaments than usual. The event will last from October 6 to 12 and will feature various game modes over its course.
October 6, the first day will see a 2v2 Team Deathmatch tournament while the day after will have the same mode but in 3v3 format. The third day, October 8, will feature Stronghold mode while Friday, October 9, will be back to Team Deathmatch but in 4v4 format.
Saturday, October 10, will be all about 2v2 Team Deathmatch again, followed by 3v3 Team Deathmatch the next day and Stronghold on the final day, which is October 12.
For clarity, the full schedule looks like this:
- October 6 – 2v2 TDM
- October 7 – 3v3 TDM
- October 8 – Stronghold
- October 9 – 4v4 TDM
- October 10 – 2v2 TDM
- October 11 -3v3 TDM
- October 12 – Stronghold
Each day of the event will feature eight additional daily tournaments, all of which will be in one of the featured formats.
To top all of the goodies off, the entire week will be accompanied by Greater Call of the Mists buff which will increase participants’ PvP rank gain by 15 per cent, reward track progress by 25 per cent and Magic Find in PvP by 200 per cent.
