Jennifer Aniston admits she’s pining after Friends as David Schwimmer is still blocking reboot
Jennifer Aniston has admitted she’s still pining over Friends, and to be honest, so are we.
The 50-year-old recently opened up about her time on the show when celebrating InStyle magazine’s 25th anniversary.
And while rumours of a reunion have been put to bed by Ross Geller star David Schwimmer, we can’t help but feel his onscreen girlfriend is secretly hoping for some kind of comeback.
When chatting to the publication, she looked back on the 90s sit-com, and spoke about how much it helped her grow as a person.
The Rachel Green star said: ‘I started to find my confidence when I was on Friends, for sure. In a way, being on that show was the ultimate trust exercise.
‘There was comfort in numbers there, so we all held each other up. I miss a lot about that time. Having a job that was absolute, pure joy.
She added: ‘I miss getting to be with people I love massively and respect beyond words. So, yes, these days I’m super nostalgic. ‘
Fans appear to be with the actress when she says she misses the popular series, as they have begged the stars of the show to get the gang back together again.
However, despite everyone’s wishes, David recently crushed our Friends dreams during an appearance on The Lateish Show With Mo Gilligan. When asked if there would ever be a reunion, he stumbled on his words before saying: ‘Well, no. I mean…. No.’
The 52-year-old went onto add: ‘I think we all feel it ended in the perfect way.’ And he’s not the only cast mate who says there’s basically no chance of them reuniting on screen, as Matt Le Blanc has previously agreed. The Joey Tribbiani recently told Femail: ‘I don’t want to do it – simple.
‘People want to know what happened to them. But it was about a finite period in a person’s life after college, before you settle down and start a family.
