Aston Villa board member delivers five-word response to transfer ‘incoming’ claim

Tommy Jordan has debunked claims on Twitter that a player has completed a medical and is set to move to Aston Villa.

The Transfer Saga posted on Twitter, citing Whispers_Avfc, that an ‘unnamed incoming’ is seemingly set to arrive after a medical was ‘completed’.

But Villa’s Communications Director at Aston Villa issued this pretty simple response to those claims.

Villa have already done business during this transfer window, with Ashley Young returning to the club and Emiliano Buendia signing in a record deal.

And whilst nothing is seemingly imminent, one thing is for sure, rumours are floating around that bids have been made and strong interest is on the table for certain players.

One of those players includes Bayer Leverkusen superstar, Leon Bailey, who seems to be on Villa’s radar.

Even though Buendia has arrived this summer to bulk up the wide areas, it looks as though Dean Smith still wants to add to that position.

Villa had several bids turned down for Emile Smith Rowe, but in the end, he committed his future to Arsenal.

But, at the end of the day, whatever piece of business Villa conduct, the best one of them all will be keeping star man Jack Grealish at the club.

Or even better, tying him down to a new contract just like they did last summer.

There’s no reason why Grealish shouldn’t be a Villa player next season and what a forward line supporters Smith has in store for the supporters.

Ollie Watkins will be feeling like it’s his birthday everyday given the number of chances they will create for him.
