Erling Haaland gives verdict on Jadon Sancho to Manchester United transfer
Erling Haaland doesn’t seem too pleased that Jadon Sancho is joining Manchester United.
After waiting a year to agree a deal, United and Borussia Dortmund settled on a £73million fee for Sancho last week. The transfer will be completed after Sancho returns from Euro 2020, subject to personal terms and a medical.
As United fans get excited over their new addition, Dortmund fans will be licking their wounds after seeing Sancho develop into one of Europe’s most dangerous wingers in the past few years in Germany.
His progression has been helped in no small part by his flourishing relationship with striker Haaland, with the pair combining to devastating effect in the Bundesliga.
However, Sancho has earned his move back to the Premier League, and it seems Haaland is still not over the news as he reacted to one of his former teammates’ latest Instagram post.
Uploading a picture from the England camp ahead of their Euro 2020 semi-final with Denmark on Wednesday, Sancho looked in good spirits as he looks to keep his place in the Three Lions starting XI. He captioned the post with a grinning emoji.
And among the comments was Haaland, who despite the smile on Sancho’s face, could only comment with a crying face emoji in return, seemingly still not over the fact he’s set to lose his front line partner at Dortmund.
Last week, Haaland’s father Alfie tweeted about the transfer: “F—. But all the best [Sancho] you will be missed.”
