Insigne’s future at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona is under the scanner as he has entered the final year of his contract at the club.
The 30-year-old had a stellar European Championship with Italy, helping them lift the trophy and has been credited with interest from clubs across Europe, including Tottenham.
Insigne is yet to commit to a new contract at Napoli as he wants a raise in wages, while club supremo Aurelio De Laurentiis is trying to bring down their wage bill.
It has been claimed that Napoli are prepared to let any of their players go for the right price, including Insigne, with a fee in the £26m range mooted.
However, according to Italian daily Il Mattino, Napoli have no intention of selling Insigne this summer unless he asks to leave the club.
Insigne is expected to meet Di Laurentiis on 5th August and both the player and the club are expecting to find clarity over his future then.
Despite interest from the likes of Tottenham, Napoli are yet to receive any concrete offers for Insigne and as it stands he is looking likely to remain at the club.
