West Ham United eye £30m move for Watford winger Ismaila Sarr
West Ham United are plotting a £30m move for Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr.
That’s according to a report in The Sun, who say the Hammers are weighing up a move for the former Rennes player to bolster their strikeforce.
Boss David Moyes has cash to spend following the sale of Sebastian Haller to Ajax which leaves Michail Antonio as the only out and out forward at the London Stadium.
The report says the Londoners are prepared to bid more than Crystal Palace’s £25m plus add-ons offer over the summer to lure Sarr back to the Premier League.
The 22-year-old Senegal international was linked with both Liverpool and Manchester United at the end of last season but neither made a firm bid for the player.
Sarr, who joined Watford for a club-record £40m deal in August 2019, still has three and a half years left on his contract at Vicarage Road.
The winger has four goals in 19 appearances for the Hornets so far this season.
