West Ham United’s reported plan for ‘terrific’ player amid speculation
Bayern Munich are interested in signing Tomas Soucek from West Ham United, according to TEAMtalk.
It has been reported that Bayern are monitoring the 25-year-old defensive midfielder.
West Ham are aware of interest from the German giants and defending European champions in the 25-year-old and are ready to offer him a new contract, according to the report.
Soucek has been a success at West Ham so far and has established himself as an important player in manager David Moyes’s team.
Described by Moyes as “a terrific lad with very good physical capabilities” on West Ham’s official website on July 25, 2020, the 25-year-old has made the Hammers better and more solid in the middle of the park.
The Czech Republic international spent the second half of last season on loan from Slavia Prague, and the move to West Ham was made permanent in the summer of 2020.
According to WhoScored, Soucek has scored three goals in 12 Premier League matches for the Hammers so far this season.
West Ham are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 20 points from 12 matches.
